It was a brilliant day and a record one! All six competitors from Street Area Gymnastics took to the podiums to be awarded with some combination of bronze, silver or gold medals, nobody came home without being placed somewhere in in the top three places in their individual competition groups! It will be a hard act to follow!
The L1 under 9s were such a large group that they were divided into two groups by age. Here are STAGS younger under 9s.
Results for 'Floor' were called out first, resulting in 2nd and third podium places for these two and bronze and silver medals! Great start girls!
And finally, for their overall positions across all pieces of apparatus, floor, vault and trampette, a repeat! A third place bronze and a second place silver medal!
There was also an extra medal this year for all the gymnasts who had competed! As recognition of all the work they and their coaches had put in to make their entries a possibility.
